Using Screenbeam to Project Your Device

  • Project from your device to the screen in the room.

How to Steps

  • When the ScreenBeam is selected as an input, you will see an image like the below.

  • To connect via HDMI cable:
    • Connect the HDMI cable to your device. An adapter to USB may be required depending on your device. 
    • Ensure your audio output is set to ScreenBeam.
  • To connect wirelessly:
    • On PC:
      • Press the Windows key + K.
      • Select the desired ScreenBeam from the list. 
      • It will ask you for a pin.
        • This is displayed on the ScreenBeam screen. 
        • Enter the PIN and hit Connect.
        • You will need to decide on Extended or Mirrored display, depending on preference. 
        • You will need to select the audio output of the ScreenBeam, likely named Digital Output.
        • There will be an icon on your task bar: 
          • You can click this and then click Disconnect
          • You can change your display mode from here.
    • ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​On a Mac:
      • Open Control Center.
      • Click Screen Mirroring.
      • Select the designated ScreenBeam.
      • It will ask you for a pin.
        • This is displayed on the ScreenBeam screen. 
        • Enter the PIN and hit Connect.
        • You will need to decide on Extended or Entire Screen(Mirror) display, depending on preference. 
        • Click Start Mirroring.
        • You will need to select the audio output of the ScreenBeam, likely named the same as the ScreenBeam for the room.
        • To disconnect:
          • Re-open Screen Mirroring in the Control Center or the Screen Mirroring Button on the top bar.
          • Choose Stop Mirroring.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
