How do I access my Creighton Email?

Prerequisites / Minimum Requirements

  • Active NetID: You must have an active Creighton NetID and BLUE password.

  • Account Activation: New users must first activate their account at ami.creighton.edu.

  • Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA): You must have your MFA (Microsoft Authenticator) configured to approve sign-in requests. If you do not have MFA setup, you will be prompted to enroll upon your first login.

  • Browser/App: A modern web browser (Chrome, Edge, Safari) or the Microsoft Outlook application(s).

End State / Outcome

User is successfully able to login into the Creighton Microsoft 365 environment and have full access to their Creighton account to manage email, calendar, and contacts.

How to Steps

Signing in via Web Browser 

  1. Go to outlook.office.com.
  2. When prompted for your organizational account, enter your Creighton email address in the format: NetID@creighton.edu.

  3. You will then be redirected to the Creighton single sign-on page. Enter your BLUE password.

  4. Complete the Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) prompt to finish the login.

Setting up the Outlook Mobile App

  1. Download and open the Microsoft Outlook app from your device's app store.

  2. Tap Add Account.

  3. Enter your NetID@creighton.edu as the account address.

  4. When the Creighton login screen appears, enter your BLUE password and approve the MFA notification.

Setting up Outlook for Desktop (PC or Mac)

  1. Open Outlook on your computer.

    • , sign in to appsIf you need to install the portal.office.com with your NetID@creighton.edu to download Microsoft 365.

  2. Select File > Add Account.

  3. Enter NetID@creighton.edu as your organizational email address and click Connect.

  4. Enter your BLUE password in the Creighton authentication window and complete the MFA process.
