Summary
Users may encounter an issue where PDF files uploaded to the Visa Spend Clarity platform cannot be viewed by other users. Instead of the document opening, an error message appears in the browser-based PDF viewer.
This issue has been observed multiple times since the organization transitioned to the newer Visa Spend Clarity platform.

Common Signs or Symptoms:
- A user uploads a PDF to Visa Spend Clarity.
- Other users attempting to view the file are unable to open it.
- The PDF displays an error or fails to render in the browser.
Troubleshooting Steps:
Disable the Adobe PDF Portfolio output setting in Outlook so that newly created PDFs are saved as standard PDF files.
- Open Microsoft Outlook.
- Select the Adobe PDF tab in the Outlook ribbon.
- Click Change PDF Conversion Settings.
- Go to the Settings tab.
- Uncheck the option:
“Output Adobe PDF Portfolio when creating a new PDF file.”
- Click OK to save the changes.
