Clearing Cache on Drupal

Drupal sometimes becomes unresponsive or behaves erratically. When this happens, you need to clear cache. As of the spring 2018, Drupal powers dozens of sites and hundreds of pages of Creighton’s total web presence, such as Human Resources, Student Life, Public Safety, and Financial Aid.

Clearing cache is relatively harmless.
Your sites may slow down while clearing cache.
For this reason, make sure you give the right people access to clear_cache.
Note: Clear Cache does not clear web browser cache,
This will need to be cleared separately.

  1. Log into Drupal at https://sitesname.creighton.edu/user.
  2. Click the clear cache.
