How to Steps
1. Login to CSDJ iMac with cuadmin credentials.
2. Terminal application must have Full Disk Access to run the command. Check System Settings, Privacy & Security, Full Disk Access to confirm.
3. If Full Disk Access is not granted to Terminal Application, add it by Clicking the Plus Sign and browse to the Utilities Folder and Click Terminal and Open.
4. Open Terminal Application from the Utilities Menu.
5. Type: sudo du -hxd1 /Users and press Enter. Provide password.
6. You will receive output similar to this:

256M /Users/ftg43505
1.1G /Users/jdb54051
1.4G /Users/jmcadmin
33G /Users/kky14134
7. Capture the relevant netid/user name information for the users with large amounts of stored data.
8. Using AMI or AD Users and Computers, determine the names of the high storage use individuals.
9. Provide this information to the department admin or faculty member reporting issue, requesting the students move their data to an external device or online storage.
