Adding an Internal Link in GatherContent for my.creighton

This article describes how to link from one my.creighton.edu page to another using GatherContent.

How to Steps

To link to from one my.Creighton page to another and avoid problems when the site goes live, complete the following steps. 

1. Log into the Sandbox for my.creighton and locate the page you want to link to.  
2. Copy the page ID from the URL at the top of the page by highlighting it and either choosing Ctrl-C or clicking the link icon. 
   • The page ID is the series of numbers at the end of the URL when you are editing the page. (Such as department-detail?recordId=17682108.)
3. Now log into GatherContent and locate the page where you want to place the internal link.
4. Highlight the text you wish to add the internal link to, and select the link icon on the formatting toolbar. 

5. A Link box will appear.  Click inside of the Enter URL box and and then click Ctrl-V to paste the URL.

5. Next click Apply.
