Creighton University provides access to software such as Adobe Creative Cloud and IBM SPSS through the OnTheHub Store. You can conveniently purchase software online with digital delivery.
Software availability may vary based on your status at Creighton:
- Students: Access a variety of discounted software for educational use.
- Employees (Faculty and Staff): Some products are available under the Work-At-Home License Agreement.
Information Technology (IT) highly recommends purchasing the Extended Access Guarantee when downloading software from OnTheHub. This ensures access to your downloads and license keys for two years.
Important Notes:
- The software offered is strictly for personally-owned devices and is not intended for University-owned computers.
- IT notedoes not provide support for faculty or staff home computers. Installation, updates, usage, and maintenance of any purchased software are the buyer’s responsibility.
Microsoft Office 365: Free for Full-Time Students, Faculty, and Staff
Creighton University offers five free downloads of Microsoft Office 365 (Mac, PC, or mobile devices) for personal use.
Here’s how to get started:
- Navigate to portal.office.com and login with your netid@creighton.edu account and password.
- Select Apps on the left hand menu
- Select Install apps from the top right corner.

- Select Microsoft 365 apps.
- Make sure all other programs are closed before running installation file.
- Once this file is done downloading, locate install file in downloads folder in finder and open the file to install.
- Click Continue on the Installer page.
- Click continue again.
- Click Agree.
- Click Continue.
- Click Install and your office installation will begin. You may be prompted for administrator rights to complete the installation. If so input them when asked, if you do not have admin rights contact the Service Desk at 402-280-1111.
- Click Finish when the installation has completed. Open up Word and if you are asked for your email address and password please remember to use your netid@creighton.edu and your blue password.
