How to Steps
Departments may request a no-cost Interviewee Permit on behalf of a candidate. This can be done through an employee’s SSO account or a department-created account on JayPark. Any misuse of this permit may result in fines for the individual or the department.
Steps to Request an Interviewee Permit
- Select Permit Type
Choose Interviewee Permit / For Interview ONLY.
Check the box confirming I have read and agree to the Rules and Regulations, then click Next.
- Set Permit Dates
Enter the interview date as both the effective date and expiration date, then click Next.
- Add Vehicle Information
- Use the candidate’s actual vehicle information if available.
- If unknown or using a rental, create a generic department vehicle:
- Plate Number: Department name or abbreviation
- Model: Department
- Make: Department
- Color: Unknown
After selecting or adding the vehicle, click Next.
- Review and Complete
- Confirm the permit dates are correct.
- Click Pay Now.
- A secondary payment page will appear:
- If using an SSO account, check the box acknowledging payroll deduction terms. Note: This will not result in any actual payroll charge.
- This checkbox will not appear for department accounts.
- Click Pay Now again to finalize the transaction.
- Provide Permit to Candidate
The permit can be printed or saved as a PDF and emailed to the prospective employee.
