AntiVirus
myIT recommends Microsoft Defender, a free antivirus product from Microsoft, for personal personal devices.. All Creighton owned devices have Microsoft Defender installed for protection.
Please note that any antivirus product you may currently have will need to be uninstalled before installing Microsoft Defender. To remove old antivirus software, head to the Control Panel and the Programs section to remove it from your computer.
Anti-Malware
Malwarebytes, a free malware removal tool that is very powerful and removes most infections, may also be useful. It can be found at malwarebytes.com.
