Registering for Classes in NEST (Banner 9)

How to Steps

 

  1. From the All Users landing page, click top tab for Students, and then click the Register for Classes tile.

 

  1. Select a term from the Terms Open for Registration drop-down list.

  1. Enter your Registration PIN, and click Continue.

  1. There are two way to register:
  • Enter CRNs (course reference numbers) or
  • Find Classes.

 

To register by entering CRNs:

  1. Click the CRNs tab
  2. Enter one in a cell and add more cells/CRNs as needed.
  3. When done, click Add to Summary.

 

To register by using Find Classes:

 

  1. A course search can be done by Subject, Course Number, or Keyword.  (There is also an Advanced Search option if additional criteria are needed.)

  1. Once Search Criteria are entered, click Search.

 

  1. Once you have found the course, click Add. Then repeat Search/Add as needed.

 

After Selecting the Courses for registration:

  1. Once courses have been added, check the Class Schedule block for conflicts.

  1. To resolve any conflicts, Pending courses may be resolved using Action in the Summary block.  When done, click Submit.

  1. Once all courses are added and conflicts resolved, you must click Submit to complete and Pending registrations.

  1. The Status column will now show Registered, if there are no errors.
