Who is a visitor?
- A visitor is a person without an official affiliation with the University.
- Includes: alumni, parents, family members, friends, community members coming infrequently
- Does not include: students, employees, contractors,
Non-affiliate visitors parking options:
- During the business day 6 a.m. - 4 p.m.
- May utilize available visitor stalls through out campus without a permit
- Lack of any available stall does not mean that the visitor can park in a lot without a permit
- May park in any employee surface lot if a daily/weekly permit is purchased with a guest account or employee account
- May parking in any student surface lot if a daily/weekly permit is purchased with a student account
- After hours and weekends
- May utilize available visitor stalls through out campus without a permit
- May park in any surface lot if a evening/weekend permit( is purchased at no cost with a any account type)
- These permits are valid Friday through Sunday and all evenings.
- We extend the pass for long holiday weekends when necessary.
- Frequent Visitor:
- A $25 Evening Decal can be "purchased" through JayPark.
- It is recommended to have the guest create a guest account to make the "purchase".

- How can a visitor get a permit themselves?
- Any visitor can sign up and create a guest account on JayPark.
- Daily/Weekly/Monthly/Weekend printable permits are available to purchase as needed
- The printable permit is only valid if printed and placed on the dashboard of the vehicle
- How can students get permits on behalf of visitor?
- Student can log into their JayPark account with their SSO.
- Daily/Weekly/Monthly/Weekend printable permits are available to purchase as needed
- Students must make sure to input the correct vehicle information for the visitor
- How can employees/departments get permits on behalf of visitor?
- Guest lecturers, interviewees, vendors, and other invited guests must also display a permit, which can be paid for by the individual or the department through JayPark. These printable permits can be purchased on the same day or ahead of time for specific dates.
- Employees can log into their JayPark account with their SSO.
- Departments can sign up and create a department account with a general department email
- If a department or employee has frequent visitors we recommend that they create a generic vehicle with the department name as the plate number. This will allow the department to purchase permits for rentals and unknown vehicles.
