Accessing the 1098-T in NEST for Students

Prerequisites / Minimum Requirements

• Active Creighton netID and password
• Access to a web browser
• A PDF viewer or printer to save or print the completed form

End State / Outcome

Upon completion of these steps, the student will have successfully located and printed or saved their 1098-T tuition statement from The Nest portal, ready for use when filing federal income taxes.

How to Steps

Step 1: Navigate to The Nest

Open a web browser and go to thenest.creighton.edu. Click on the NEST tile to proceed.

Step 2: Log In with Your Creighton Credentials

Enter your NetID@creighton.edu and password to sign in.

Step 3: Click on the Students Tab

Once logged in, locate and click the Students tab in the navigation menu

Step 4: Select Tax Notifications

Under the Student tab, click on Tax Notification (1098-T) to access your tax documents.

Step 5: Print or Save Your 1098-T

Click the Print Icon to display the tax document without the watermark. You can then save it as a PDF or print a physical copy.

Additional Information

• 1098-T forms are typically available by January 31st each year.
• If you do not see a 1098-T, you may not have had any qualifying tuition transactions for that tax year.
