Extending the NEST Stop Date for a Parent Proxy if Access Expired

Prerequisites / Minimum Requirements

  • Student must have already created Parent Proxy access in The Nest.

  • Parent access is showing as expired or the parent is receiving an Access Expired error.

  • Student must be able to log in to **** using their NetID@creighton.edu and Blue password.

  • Student must update the Stop Date for the Parent Proxy account.

End State / Outcome

After updating the Stop Date in Parent Proxy Management, the parent’s proxy access will remain active until the new Stop Date. The parent will then be able to log in and access the student information that the student has authorized through The Nest.

How to Steps

If a parent sees an Access Expired error, the student must extend the Stop Date for their Parent Proxy access in The NEST.

1. Navigate to thenest.creighton.edu and select Nest tile.

2. Log in using your netid@creighton.edu and password

3. Select the Student tab.

4. Click Parent Proxy Management.

5. Locate the parent/proxy user whose access needs to be extended.

6. Click the Edit (pencil) icon next to the person’s name.

7. Update the Stop Date to the new desired expiration date.

8. Click Submit to save the changes.
