Deactivate License for Office365 on computer

Prerequisites / Minimum Requirements

  • unable to log in office product
  • all 5 of your licenses are used

End State / Outcome

  • Able to log into office with 1 of the 5 licenses

How to Steps

 Instructions for deactivating one of your five licenses from a computer to be able to add a license to another computer.

1. Navigate to https://portal.office.com/Account/#home

2. Log in with netid@creighton.edu and blue password.

3. From the Office apps & devices tile, select View apps and devices.

4. Under Apps & devices, select the down arrow next to Devices to view the devices where Office is installed.

5. Select Sign out next to the device.

*Note: It can take up to 72 hours for Office to detect that you signed out remotely.
