Prerequisites / Minimum Requirements
End user requiring a MacBook loaner, student end user currently enrolled with Creighton University, Apple device needing repair, student end user requiring exam loaner, MacBook loaner available from loaner pool

End user provided with MacBook loaner containing local profile
How to Steps
1. Acquire MacBook loaner from loaner pool.
2. Ensure device charged and functional prior to release to end user.
3. If loaner is MacOS Ventura continue below.
4. For Name enter either cuadmin or casperadmin.
5. For Password enter password for cuadmin or casperadmin.
6. Go to Apple menu.
7. Go to System Settings.
8. Scroll down and select Users & Groups.
9. Select Add Account...
10. Enter the appropriate admin credentials when prompted.
Select Unlock.
A local profile window will populate.
11. Change Account type to Administrator.
12. For Full Name enter end user specific NetID.
Note: NetID is used an example.
Account Name will auto-populate.
For Password enter “password”.
For Verify enter “password”.
End user can change password to temporary local profile at later time.
Select Create User.
13. Go to Apple menu.
14. Select Log Out of cuadmin or casperadmin.
15. Ensure end user can successfully log into MacBook loaner.
