How to Steps
- In Werner, the system defaults to PC as the input for the projectors and the lectern monitor.
- After turning the system on, if you want to present from your laptop, you will want to select Laptop from the pull down menu.
- By default, the system will have audio coming from whatever is selected to display on the Left Projector.
- By default, Panopto will be recording the camera in the rear of the room and whatever is displayed on the Left Projector.
Using Solstice with a Wired Connection
There is an option to connect to the Mersive Solstice pod through the provided HDMI cable (with or without the provided adapters) or wirelessly. Both options go through the Solstice pod.

Using Solstice with a Wireless Connection
- A screen like this will appear with instructions for connecting wirelessly.
- If you do not yet have the Mersive Solstice app, you will need to download and install it.
- Going to the IP address in the upper right corner will provide a link to download the app.
- Click Get the App to download.
- Depending on your browser and permissions, you may get an error like the one below.
- Click Keep.
- Once downloaded, double-click to install the file. You may get another error, depending on permissions. Click Allow. (You may need administrator privileges to install the application on your device.)
- Once installed, the application will ask for your name when you run it for the first time. This does not need to be any specific login name.
- Next you will get the option to sync your calendar. This is optional and can be skipped. Press Skip and Finish.
- If you installed the software by going to the IP address of a specific room, you will get this popup asking for the code displayed on the screen.
- Depending on how you connected, the code may be in the upper left or prominent in the middle of the screen.Enter the code and click Connect.

- When first connecting, you will be given options on what to share. Typically, the best option is to click Desktop to share everything.
- Once connected, you will see a small bar at the top for options and to stop sharing. Clicking the little upward arrow will drop an options menu.
- If your audio is not working, check the Auto Share Audio button under the Control menu.
- When done using the wireless option, remember to click Disconnect to stop sharing your content.
