Activating Your Account

How to Steps

You will receive a letter or email from the Admissions Office or HR welcoming you to Creighton.  This letter will contain your NetID and instructions on activating your Creighton account.  Account activation will create a "forgotten password" profile which will allow you to reset your password by sending a code to your mobile device, if you list the number when setting up your account. The BLUE password along with your NetID will get you into email (Office 365), Creighton's learning management system, NEST and other academic applications.

 

Activating Your Account

New students, employees, and sponsored individuals will receive an email with the link to activate their Blue Account. The following instructions walk through this four-step process.

 

  1. Go to http://ami.creighton.edu.
  2. Select the Activate Account link at the bottom of the login screen.

     
  3. On the Activate a New Account screen, enter your NetID and click Activate.

     
  4. When presented with Verification STEP #2 , click Continue and a verification code will be sent to your email.

     
  5. In Verification Step #3, enter the verification code you received via email into the Code box.

     
  6. Click Validate.
  7. Verification STEP #4 confirms that your account has been verified.

     
  8. Click Continue.
  9. Select Continue again.  Your account is now active.
