- Apple does not allow the remote control settings to be managed by any IT department
- The end user must provide approval in system preferences for remote control to be allowed
- Once the endpoint manager software has been installed, a box will pop up prompting to finish setup of Ivanti Remote Control
- Click the blue box to Open System Settings (or open System Settings via other means)

- Toggle the IVRemoteControl from off (grey), to On (blue)
- If the computer has the correct JAMF user profiles, this setting change should not require admin rights; Any user should be able to toggle this setting

- Click Quit and Reopen
- If later is chosen, the device will need to be logged out or restarted

- The first time a support technician attempts a remote control connection, the screencapture prompt will occur
- Click Allow
- Failing to Click Allow will prevent the support technicians from providing the required technical support
- No actual recordings or audio capture is being made. This is all apple terminology for allowing a person to remotely view a screen
