Answer
All garages require the physical decal and the permit holder will have access to their assigned garage on their JayCards. Students whose cards are not working should submit a ticket.
If sharing a vehicle with a sibling, roommate, or friend a ticket can be submitted by the permit holder to request access for the other party. Those that are found to allow other vehicles to improperly use their access will have parking privileges revoked and could face associated fines.
Garage Parking is defined as areas that are secured by a card reader and are covered. If an area does not meet both criteria it is not considered a garage.
