Accessing Cisco Phone Mailbox Remotely

Prerequisites / Minimum Requirements

• An active Creighton Cisco desk phone with a mailbox.

End State / Outcome

• Accessed phone mailbox remotely.

How to Steps

There are two ways to access your voice mail box remotely to check messages and change options.

Method 1 

1.       Dial your direct dial number. 
2.       When the greeting starts, press * then enter your ID (Extension number) followed by # and 6-digit PIN followed by #

Method 2

1.        Dial the back-door number (280-2500) and enter ID (Extension number) followed by # and 6-digit PIN followed by #.
2.        To change your setup options press 4 then choose which option you would like to change from the list below:
   •       Greeting
   •       Message Settings
   •       Preferences
   •      Transfer Settings
