How to Steps
- Setup the docking station with monitors and plug into the Mac system via included USB-C cable.
- On the laptop click Allow Accessory to Connect.
- Download drivers (Display Link Manager) from the following location:
https://www.synaptics.com/products/displaylink-graphics/downloads/macos
- Run application after download. Once installed successfully, user will get the following message, Display Link Manager would like to record this computer’s screen and audio.
- Click Open System Settings in this window.
- Toggle the switch next to Display Link Manager.
- A window will appear, select Quit and Reopen.
- Connected external monitors will now begin to function.
**If the laptop screen freezes and the external displays have an odd resolution, unplug the monitors from the docking station, wait 5 seconds, and plug them back in**
- Make sure to now select Launch Automatically after Login inside the Display Link Manager application.
- Go to Settings -> Display to configure the external monitor left to right orientation.
- Restart system to confirm monitor functionality.
