Connecting to WiFi - CUWireless for PC

Prerequisites / Minimum Requirements

• A Windows 10 or Windows 11 PC

• A valid NetID and password

• Wireless capabilities enabled

End State / Outcome

  • This guide walks users through connecting a Windows PC to the CUWireless network.

How to Steps

🔹 Step 1: Open Wi-Fi Settings

1. Click the Wi-Fi icon in the lower-right corner of your task bar.

2. A list of available wireless networks will appear.


🔹 Step 2: Select CUWireless.

1. Locate CUWireless in the list.

2. Click it once, then click Connect.


🔹 Step 3: Enter Your Credentials

1. When prompted, enter your NetID (e.g., ral02057) and your password.

2. Click OK.


🔹 Step 4: Accept the Security Certificate (if prompted)

1. If a certificate warning appears, click Connect or Yes to continue.


🔹 Step 5: Confirm Connection

1. Once connected, you’ll see Connected, securedunder CUWireless.

2. You can now access campus Internet resources.


🛠️ Troubleshooting Tips

• Make sure Airplane Mode is off.

• If you’re unable to connect, restart your PC or try forgetting the network and reconnecting.
