Prerequisites / Minimum Require
- The device is running macOS 27.
- Pharos printing was working prior to the upgrade.
- The user can install software on the device.
- The device is connected to the internet.
End State / Outcome
The user is able to successfully print using Pharos after installing Rosetta on a Mac running macOS 27. The Pharos Popup Client functions normally, and print jobs process without error.
How to Steps
Open Terminal.
- Copy and paste the following command: /usr/sbin/softwareupdate --install-rosetta --agree-to-license

- Press Enter and wait for Rosetta to install.
- Restart the Mac.
- Sign back in and submit a test print job.
- Verify the print job processes successfully.
Alternative Method
- Open Finder.
- Select Go → Go to Folder.
- Enter: /Library/Application Support/Pharos/
- Open PopupConfiguration.app.
- When prompted, select Install to install Rosetta.
- Restart the Mac and test printing again.

- Open Self Service from applications
- Install Rosetta

Notes: After fix the pop up was still showing an error but printing was working.
